The Crew Chief at CC Land Surveyors, Inc. provides the office staff with field data to analyze and present graphically. The Crew Chief supervises the Instrument Personnel to perform surveying tasks in the most efficient way possible.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Crew Chief frequently lifts up to 25 pounds; regularly lifts up to 50 pounds; occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds; and rarely lifts more than 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or less); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed at a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); and, ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).

Requirements

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Current/Valid Georgia Drivers License.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
CST Level II or higher.
